February Newsletter

Dear Visitor,

Court status

Thank you so much to the band of volunteers who hacked most of the ice off the courts this morning. All the courts are now clear but please be very careful as there may still be patches of ice around and on the paths or carpark. We do not routinely clear frost, snow or ice from the courts or surrounding paths. Courts should only be cleared following consultation with a committee member.

Under current restictions, we can still only play with 1 other person outside the family unit. Families may play doubles together and under 12s are exempt. I will keep you updated as and when there restrictions are lifted - hopefully soon!

Clubhouse access is for emergencies only, and strictly 1 at a time. Please keep your hands and equipment well sanitised, and observe physical distancing.

Group Coaching for under-12s resumes next week and Pawel is also able to offer 1 to 1 coaching. We are offering great discounts for parents who are joining with their children this year; please note that Junior Coaching is only available to club members.

Social Media & Publicity

We would like to improve Banchory Tennis Club’s social media presence and make sure that we are promoting the club well and encouraging new members to join. It would be especially useful to have someone to help the committee to do this effectively. If this is of interest to you, do let me know!

Membership Renewals

Please let me know if you have not yet received the email from ClubSpark inviting you to renew your membership or are having difficulty doing so. There are some interesting new packages available this year, something for everyone!

See you soon on court, I hope.

Best Wishes
